If you’re like me, my pets are an integral part of my family, so it makes sense to ensure they have proper treatment should they ever need it. Just like health care for you and I, your pets require annual checkups. Wouldn’t it make sense to save money on your visits to the veterinarian? Pet health insurance is the answer. I most instances costs are low, but should your pet require treatment for something more serious, its good to know that you have the piece of mind that you will be able to do what you can to help and not be financially strapped.

As a young boy, I had a great dog that went everywhere with me. When I came home from school, she was there; when I went to sleep she was there. She was there when I had no friends in the neighborhood to hang out with. She lived from the time of my early teenage years to into my early twenties. When she got sick, I wanted to help her. She had regular visits to the vet for heartworms, flea & tick medication, and checkups. I have often wondered that if the vet could have done more, would she have stuck around for a few more years. I think it was just her time to go.
